“Rebecca has many creative abilities and has shown exceptional talents in sewing and weaving. She is a highly skilled artist, working independently and with a close attention to detail that makes her work stand out, and her positive attitude makes her a delight to work with!

Rebecca takes initiative and shows passion for her work. Using her knowledge from her experiences working at Joann Fabric, she creates her own hand-sewn clothing and costumes. Her work has been celebrated both here and in the greater community, including an embroidery piece displayed at the Helms Art Show in June of 2023 as well as the sale of a table runner at our October 2024 art show. 

Rebecca has worked part-time at Home Goods for the last 3 years. She began working in the back room, unpacking inventory. Now, she's responsible for organizing the food section and assisting customers. She's lived in her own apartment since 2014 with staff support, and in the future, Rebecca would like to get a job in art or working with animals!”
