D’Marcus B
“I’ve been an Inside Out Productions artist for over 17 years. My art represents what I can focus on and express about being more active. Having a statement to reach out to others to be more understanding. Art to overcome barriers. When I make art I feel more balanced, more fully aware, and more productive.
My disability helps me express unusual ideas in my art. An artist has the ability to do what he or she wants to express their feelings on the world today. He or she can fantasize a world full of imagination.
My name is D’Marcus B. I’ve been an artist since 2007. My favorite part about being in the studio is the tools that are there to use. You can create visions of reality or fantasy. My art reflects how I explain what seems simple. I was just thinking about ways to have plenty of sight (straight or perspective). The most interactive project of all was the shadow box. I like working in different mediums, picturing the values of positives or negatives. Showing a piece tells a story. Based on where you are going, some advice: take a first step of ways to explore how art is visualized."
